Daily Star - Palestinian Principles Committee Launched In Beirut

By The Daily Star

BEIRUT: The establishment of the “National Palestinian Committee for Defending Principles” (NPCDP) was announced Wednesday at the Bristol Hotel in Beirut during a gathering of Palestinian and Lebanese figures, and the NPCDP founding members. “The Arabs’ right to resist Israel, and the right of return are not based on international law or UN decisions but stem from history, geography, and natural human rights” said Bilal al-Hassan, a founding member of NPCDP. Hassan said 70 Palestinian figures have signed the founding statement of NPCDP, and noted that NPCDP opposes methods used by the PA regarding negotiations with Israel. – The Daily Star
