The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Assafir - 4 arrested - January 24,2011


أصدرت قيادة الجيش ـ مديرية التوجيه، بياناً أكدت فيه أنه ظهر اليوم (أمس) وأثناء مداهمة دورية من الجيش لمنزلي شخصين بسبب إطلاقهما النار أثناء حصول إشكال في خراج بلدة الفرزل ـ محلة عرب الجرميشة، تم العثور على عدد من البنادق وكمية من الذخائر. كما تم توقيف 7 اشخاص لمحاولة فرارهم من أمام الدورية، وعدم حيازة أحدهم لأوراق ثبوتية. وتجري ملاحقة أشخاص آخرين بوضع الفرار. تمت إحالة الموقوفين مع المضبوطات الى القضاء المختص لإجراء اللازم».
