The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Lebanon news - NOW Lebanon -Siddiq: I will hand over new evidence to STL

Former Syrian intelligence operative Mohammad Zuhair as-Siddiq will soon travel to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) headquarters near The Hague to hand in evidence that he had previously refused to surrender to the international investigation, he said on Sunday evening.
He feared to give investigators videotapes containing the names of people still in Syria, “because if [the tapes] leak, they will not return in safety,” he told New TV over the phone.
