The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Lebanon news - NOW Lebanon -Wahhab: The STL is finished


“The Special Tribunal for Lebanon [STL] is finished because the new cabinet will […] cut off [Lebanon’s] ties to the tribunal,” Tawhid al-Arabi leader Wiam Wahhab said on Wednesday evening.
It would be better if March 14 did not participate in the cabinet because “there are two different projects” and they should not receive a blocking third of cabinet portfolios, he told NBN television.
