The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Daily Star - Prosecutor Charges 17 Over Counterfeit Money

BEIRUT: Financial General Prosecutor Judge Fawzi Adham filed lawsuits against 17 suspects on Tuesday for promoting the use of counterfeit money. Adham filed lawsuits against 17 suspects and a number of fugitives wanted since the beginning of 2010 for knowingly circulating Lebanese and foreign counterfeit currencies in various Lebanese regions. They were transferred to the concerned authorities for investigation. – The Daily Star
