The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Daily Star - Saqr probes case of Fatah al Islam suspects - January 20,2010

BEIRUT: Government Commissioner to the Military Tribunal Judge Saqr Saqr examined on Tuesday the cases of six suspects believed to belong to the militant group Fatah al-Islam. The suspects were transferred to the tribunal by the intelligence bureau of the Lebanese Armed Forces and had allegedly attempted to conduct terrorist acts in Lebanon through Fatah al-Islam. One of the suspects was Abu Walid, a Palestinian arrested during a raid 10 days ago.
