The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Iloubnan - A very special graduation - October 19, 2010

BEIRUT - This Saturday, October 16, Saint Joseph University organized a special and unique graduation. In the ranks of the amphitheater can be found Ziad Baroud, Minister of Interior, Bahiaa Hariri, MP and sister of Rafiq Hariri, Rene Chamussy, president of USJ ... All were keen to be present to salute the courage and determination of Elie Boujouk. Detained in the prison of Roumieh where he is serving a long sentence, the young man has just obtained his degree in history with an option in international relations.
