The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Harb pour « un changement de comportement envers les employées de maison » 

Le ministre du Travail Boutros Harb a tenu hier une réunion avec le comité national chargé d'élaborer une stratégie au sujet des employées de maison étrangères. Il a affirmé qu'il fallait à tout prix « changer l'image véhiculée sur le Liban au sujet du comportement vis-à-vis de ces employées de maison étrangères et modifier la culture de leurs employeurs ». Il a promis de mettre au point un plan « qui constituera une révolution par rapport à la situation actuelle »
