The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

L'Orient le Jour - Siddiq wounded following an assassination attempt in Germany, according to the Beirut Observer website - October 27, 2010

Des sources citées par le Beyrouth Observer ont indiqué que Zouheir Siddiq, considéré à l'origine comme le témoin-roi dans l'affaire de l'assassinat de Rafic Hariri, a fait l'objet il y a quelques jours d'une tentative d'assassinat en Allemagne. Les sources ont indiqué que Zouheir Siddiq, qui a été touché par trois balles, a immédiatement été transféré à l'hôpital. Son état serait critique. L'une des personnes qui a tiré le feu a été identifiée. Il s'agit d'un Libanais originaire du Liban-Sud.
