The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - March 14 groups ask Berri to work for emigrant voting rights - October 28, 2010








March 14 forces in Paris delivered a letter to Speaker Nabih Berri on Thursday asking him to work toward enabling Lebanese emigrants to vote from abroad in the 2013 parliamentary elections, according to a statement the March 14 groups issued on Thursday. Berri is currently in Paris on an official visit and met with French President Nicolas Sarkozy on Thursday.
