Now Lebanon - Sleiman following Dahiyeh incident investigation closely - October 28, 2010

President Michel Sleiman has directed authorities to investigate Wednesday’s attack on Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) investigators, and is closely following proceedings, a statement from his office said on Thursday.
A group of women charged at STL investigators at a Beirut gynecology clinic in Dahiyeh on Wednesday morning and grabbed a briefcase from them. Afterward the STL condemned the attack and said that its investigators had arranged to interview clinic owner Dr. Iman Charara with approval from the Lebanese authorities, the Doctors Syndicate and Dr. Charara herself. Attorney General Said Mirza assigned Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr to investigate the incident on Wednesday.
