The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - LADE: Saint Joseph University was cooperative - November 9, 2010









The Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (LADE) issued a statement Tuesday that Saint Joseph University cooperated with the NGO as it monitored the university’s student elections last week.
The statement added that some students’ electoral conduct was negative.
According to the statement, LADE’s notes and recommendations were handed to the university’s administration.
LADE added that it will monitor the American University of Beirut’s (AUB) student elections on November 12.
