The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

ILoubnan - The body of Patrick Elias found in Lebaa - October 25, 2010


BEIRUT - The body of the Lebanese Patrick Jergi Elias, born in 1981, was found on Monday inside his Honda car next to Lebaa State School. Security forces and forensic physician rushed to the scene to examine the incident which cause was still unknown. Investigations showed the death was caused by the consumption of Lanette poison.
