Now lebanon - MTV: Berri’s France visit to tackle more than STL - October 24, 2010

MTV quoted on Sunday a source close to Speaker Nabih Berri as saying that the latter’s upcoming visit to France will tackle more than just the issues of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) and false witnesses.
Berri will visit Paris from October 26-28 and meet with French President Nicolas Sarkozy and other top officials to discuss Lebanese affairs, bilateral relations and the Middle Eastern peace process, French Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bernard Valero said on Friday.
“The crisis is not [related] to the STL, but to Lebanon’s system and its implementation of international resolutions,” the source added.
