Now Lebanon - Zahra calls on cabinet not to receive Syrians, May 23, 2014

Lebanese Forces MP Antoine Zahra said on Thursday that Syrian nationals who would go to Syria to participate in the presidential elections should not be received in Lebanon as refugees.

“The cabinet must ban Syrians who participate in the presidential elections from entering Lebanon as refugees, for lack of any security reason,” Zahra told reporters in the parliament.

“There is no justification for Syrians who participate in the elections to return to Lebanon as refugees. In this case, they should enter it in a legal manner,” he added.
