The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - 8 NGOs Demand Lebanon to 'Stop Deporting' Syria's Palestinian Refugees, May 21, 2014

Eight human rights groups denounced Tuesday Lebanon’s deportation policy against Palestinian refugees from Syria, urging authorities to put an end to the allegedly biased actions. “We firmly condemn these discriminatory measures and violations and express our solidarity with the refugees in general and the Palestinians from Syrian more particularly,” said a joint statement. Among the signatories was Alkarama Foundation, Action by Christians against Torture and the Anti-Racism Movement.
