The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Man dies of overdose, 2 arrested for drug abuse - October 29, 2010

BEIRUT: A man was found dead of what was diagnosed as a drug overdose and two others were arrested for drug abuse Thursday in the Baalbeck village of Nebha, said a security source. Police raided the house of a Nebha local and seized 2 grams of heroin. The owner of the house and his 27-year-old friend were arrested for drug abuse, while a 21-year-old man was found dead from a drug overdose. Police launched investigations into the case, added the security source. –The Daily Star
