The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Iloubnan - Sleiman follows up domestic security situation - October 29, 2010


BEIRUT - The President of the Republic Michel Sleiman followed up with the concerned parties the ongoing investigations pertaining to the circumstances of the incident the international investigators faced and the ensuing controversies. Furthermore, the President has directed authorities to pursue their investigations to reveal the truth behind what happened and take the appropriate measure and determine responsibilities and prevent such incident to reoccur.
