The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

iloubnan- Nahhas urges to give priority to wage increase, November 30, 2011

Labor Minister Charbel Nahhas told Voice of Lebanon radio station on Wednesday that Change and Reform bloc ministers' are committed to give priority to livelihood issues including wages increase. 

Nahhas did not rule out the attendance of his bloc's ministers to Wednesday's cabinet session, adding that other issues like preserving civil peace among Lebanese and health issues should be approved. 

"Consultations are underway to give priority to wage increase issue in Wednesday's session", the minister stressed. 

He pointed out that discussions will focus on delegating Prime Minister Najib Mikati to take the appropriate action concerning STL funding inside the cabinet, hoping that the cabinet will unite.
