The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Naharnet - Lebanese-French National Kidnapped in Ferzol, August 25 2012


A Lebanese national from the Sabra family was kidnapped in the Bekaa town of Ferzol on Friday.
The National News Agency said that unknown assailants kidnapped Mohammed Hassan Sabra from the vegetable market in Ferzol.
He was taken to an unknown location.
LBCI television noted that the captive also holds the French citizenship.
Voice of Lebanon radio said that the assailants, riding in a Grand Cherokee, kidnapped Sabra on the Ferzol road in the Bekaa.
It added that he works in the fashion industry and frequently travels between Lebanon and France.
