The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

NowLebanon - Charbel: Police arrested man involved in Kuwaiti kidnapping, August 27 2012


Interior Minister Marwan Charbel told New TV on Sunday that security forces arrested one of the people involved in the abduction of a Kuwaiti national in the Beqaa Valley.
He added that police was pursing another man in Beqaa, but he did not elaborate any further.
Armed men abducted a Kuwaiti in the town of Howsh al-Ghanam in  Beqaa on Saturday.
