Now Lebanon - Ministerial statement’s STL clause “agreed upon,” says source - June 29, 2011

An unnamed minister who is a member of the committee tasked to formulate the ministerial statement told LBC television on Wednesday that the draft’s Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) clause has been agreed upon.
The formula respects international decisions and calls for the tribunal to follow a path away from politicization, the source added.
Following its June 13 formation, Prime Minister Najib Mikati’s government tasked a committee comprised of 10 ministers representing the cabinet’s factions to draft a ministerial statement.
The committee is debating over how to approach the issue of the STL probing the 2005 assassination of former PM Rafik Hariri.
