ISF forces arrest top drug dealer in Bekaa

By The Daily Star

BEIRUT: One of Lebanon’s biggest drug dealers was arrested on Saturday along with two other traffickers, according to the Internal Security Forces (ISF). The ISF announced it arrested one of Lebanon’s most notorious drug dealers, after organizing a sting operation in Brital in the Bekaa. The suspect had about 100 arrest warrants issued against him and was caught red-handed selling drugs to two other dealers, who were also arrested. He was also allegedly involved in car thefts. The ISF confiscated quantities of cocaine, heroin, hashish, and other drugs in his possession, in addition to weapons and ammunition. Another notorious drug dealer was also arrested earlier this month in Brital and his arrest led to the arrest of 40 other people involved in drug trafficking. – The Daily Star
