The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Media Against Violence condemns threat against Lebanese journalist - April 16, 2011

The Media Against Violence foundation on Saturday issued a statement condemning the threats against the Lebanese journalist Nadim Koteich.
The threats—some of which were against Koteich’s life—target the freedoms of media and free opinion, the statement also said.
The foundation called on the concerned authorities to investigate the matter and pursue the perpetrators of the intimidations.
Koteich is a Lebanese journalist and TV presenter on pro-March 14 Future News television. A person threatened on his Facebook page “to hurt him and the baby he is carrying” in his profile picture.
