NNA - Derbas To establish camps for displaced Syrians to reduce tension, May 29, 2015

Social Affairs Minister, Rashid Derbas, hoped that the government would respond to his demand for setting up camps for the displaced Syrians to help reduce the local tension resulting from their heavy presence in the country, indicating that the aids being delivered to Lebanon, regarding the displaced Syrians issue, "is trivial in comparison to their big number."

Derbas's fresh stance came Friday in the context of a discussion session on the effect of displaced Syrians' crisis on Lebanese economy, held by the East Center for Strategic Studies, in presence of Dr. Khalil Gebara representing Interior and Municipalities Minister Nuhad Mashnouk and other dignitaries.
