The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

NNA - STL Prosecutor concludes a working visit to Lebanon, November 26, 2015

The Prosecutor of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, Norman Farrell, concluded his official working visit to Lebanon today.


During his three-day visit to Beirut, he met with his Lebanese official interlocutors including the Lebanese Prosecutor General.


The Prosecutor also participated in a conference organised by the Beirut Bar Association on "International Criminal Proceedings: The Special Tribunal for Lebanon", attended by the members of the Bar, other representatives of the legal and academic communities in Lebanon, as well as members of civil society.


The Prosecutor said: "It was a fruitful working visit during which I had the opportunity to speak with my Lebanese counterparts and work with my staff on operational matters related to my mandate as Prosecutor".
