The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Hezbollah seeks Red Cross aid to find missing Lebanese - March 29, 2011

BEIRUT: Hezbollah’s Sheikh Naim Qassem called Monday on the International Committee of the Red Cross  to pursue efforts to reveal the fate missing and imprisoned Lebanese in Israel, particularly those who remained in contact with their families through the Red Cross committee. The Hezbollah deputy secretary general discussed with Beatrice Rogo, head of ICRC’s North Africa and Middle East committee, the latest developments in Lebanon and the region. Qassem underscored the party’s commitment to continue cooperating with the ICRC. –The Daily Star
