Now Lebanon - PFLP-GC denies any connection to Bekaa kidnapping - March 24, 2011

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command (PFLP-GC) on Wednesday evening denied any connection to the kidnapping of seven Europeans in the Bekaa region.
Media speculation that the foreigners are being held in a PFLP-GC base is baseless and false, the group said in a statement issued late Wednesday evening.
The party is exerting its own efforts in cooperation with the authorities to find the missing persons, the statement added.
Seven European citizens were kidnapped near the Bekaa city of Zahle on Wednesday after they had entered Lebanon from Syria on their bikes.
