The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Now Lebanon - Security delegation tours area where Estonians were kidnapped - March 26, 2011

NOWLebanon’s correspondent reported on Saturday that a diplomatic security delegation made up of officers from the French embassy, an Estonian officer and Lebanese security forces officers toured the Bekaa area where seven Estonians were kidnapped.
The delegation will meet with Lebanese security officers in Bekaa to discuss the current investigations related to the kidnapping.
Seven European citizens were kidnapped near the Bekaa city of Zahle on Wednesday after they had entered Lebanon from Syria on their bikes.
