The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Daily Star - Mirza questions Rouwad editor-in-chief Maalouf, September 17, 2011

BEIRUT: The editor-in-chief of Rouwad publication was questioned by State Prosecutor Said Mirza Friday regarding an interview published by Rouwad with the assassin of former President-elect Bashir Gemayel.
Maria Maalouf, who was summoned Thursday, visited the Justice Palace along with former Minister Elias Haddad and former Ambassador Wafiq Jaber.A judicial source told The Daily Star that Maalouf, who also owns the publication, was questioned as a witness into the publishing of the alleged interview with the assassin of the former president.“The investigation is ongoing and the state prosecutor will hear from other witnesses,” said the source.
