The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Naharnet - 8 Devil Worshippers Arrested in Mount Lebanon, September 17, 2011

Eight people, including several girls, were arrested on Friday on suspicion of blasphemy and drug possession in Mount Lebanon. The National News Agency said the suspects are devil worshippers and are self-harming.
Military Examining Magistrate Saqr Saqr is expected to charge the eight on Saturday, NNA said. Lebanese law prohibits blasphemy and immoral conduct.
