The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

NOW Lebanon - Kidnapped Lebanese man in Yemen released, March 6, 2012


A Lebanese citizen who was kidnapped in Yemen was released on Monday by his kidnappers, the National News Agency reported.
“Minister of Foreign Affairs Adnan Mansour was informed that the kidnapped Lebanese citizen, who works in oil company in North East Yemen, was released a while ago by his kidnappers,” the report said.
It added that the released man was well and that he was transferred to Yemen’s capital, Sana’a.
