Naharnet - Israel Releases Kidnapped Lebanese Shepherd, July 2012

Lebanese shepherd Youssef Zahra, who was kidnapped by Israeli forces from a disputed area, returned to Lebanon after he was released on Saturday.
The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon handed over Zahra to the Lebanese army intelligence base in the area of Naqoura.
The shepherd was abducted by an Israeli infantry patrol in Marj al-Teiss at 3:15 pm Friday.
The Lebanese army described the move as an encroachment on Lebanese sovereignty.
Foreign Minister Mansour condemned the abduction of Zahra, pointing out that "the international community must force Israel to stop its recurrent and persistent violations against Lebanon."
