The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Celebratory gunfire injures man in Sabra - July 28, 2011

BEIRUT: A man was injured by a stray bullet from celebratory gunfire following a speech by Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, the National News Agency said Wednesday.
The NNA said shots were fired in the air mainly in Beirut’s southern suburbs, following Nasrallah’s speech Tuesday, wounding a man in the area of Sabra.
In a separate incident, a dispute turned violent near Abu Daoud playground in Ouzai when two men shot at a group of people, injuring one of them in the shoulder. The victim was taken to Rafik Hariri University hospital for treatment.
