iloubnan - Moussawi: "We shall never accept any STL indictment polluting the names of our Mujahidin" - July 24, 2011

Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentarian bloc MP Nawwaf Moussawi, commented Sunday on the remarks by March 14 figures that said that Hezbollah constituted a threat to national security rather than Israel. He said that Zionists constituted the real threat, like what has been said during recent rounds of national dialogue.

Moussawi highlighted the recent Israeli threats against Lebanon targeting its economic resources, with no aggression-condemnations of any sort by any oppositionist figure forthcoming. Hezbollah only hears calls for disarming it.

Moussawi's words came on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of July 2006 Israeli war on Lebanon, celebrated in Yaroun (South Lebanon).

During his speech, he discussed the recent agreement signed by Cyprus and Israel, in which respective economic zones were defined. As a result, enemy's deep incursions into Lebanese territorial waters led to subsequent theft of Lebanese natural gas resources by the Israelis, Mousawi added.

"We shall never accept any STL indictment polluting the names of our Mujahidin. The party's real intention is to turn them instead into sacred icons," Moussawi concluded.

He duly exhorted relatives of Israel's victims to sue politicians critical of his Party before the law.
