Hezbollah issued a statement Sunday in which it responded to information issued by a French media regarding a report by the United Nations Commission, which referred to Hezbollah's connection to the killing of Syrian opposition members.

Hezbollah reminded of its several statements issued in the recent period in which it denied all allegations of this sort. It assured that its statements always expressed the Party's keen concern for the incidents taking place in Syria and its wishes for reaching solutions that would meet the aspirations of Syrians in achieving reform and stability.

In response to the aforementioned UN report, Hezbollah, once again, categorically denied any such allegations of its connection to or involvement in the killing of Syrian soldiers opposing to the Syrian regime. The Party of God condemned such false accusations, referring to them as being proof of the involvement of a number of international organizations in a conspiracy that targets all opposing forces to the American-Zionist project in the region.

Hezbollah urged the United Nations and its various affiliated institutions to show meticulousness and accountability in issuing such statements and reports, so that UN organizations remain forums for spreading peace and tranquility in the world.
