The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Daily Star - New UNRWA chief meets with Mikati, Berri, October 2 2012

BEIRUT: The new director of the U.N. Relief and Works Agency in Lebanon, Ann Dismorr, met Monday with Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Speaker Nabih Berri on her first day in the role. She will meet with President Michel Sleiman upon his return from Peru, according to a statement from UNRWA. After the meetings, Dismorr, who is a Swedish national, said: “I look forward to working with UNRWA’s dedicated staff to fulfill the agency’s mission of serving Palestine refugees in Lebanon.” Dismorr has a long career with the Swedish Foreign Ministry, most recently as ambassador to Kenya.
