The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

March 23.2010 - Daily Star Lebanon Arrest warrant issued for suspected spy for Israel.doc

BEIRUT: Military prosecutor Samih al-Hajj issued Monday an arrest warrant against Bassam Jamil Yassin for “collaborating with the Israeli enemy, providing it with information, and assisting its forces.” Hajj postponed interrogating Yassin until the latter appoints a defense attorney. Separately, Military Prosecutor Riyad Abu Ghayda interrogated the detained alleged informant Jawdat al-Khoja after delaying the session for one week for Khoja to appoint a defense attorney. Also, Abu Ghayda interrogated detainee Moussa Ali Moussa and issued an arrest warrant against him for “dealing with the Israeli enemy and providing it with information about military and civil sites and the houses and places of Hizbullah officials.” – The Daily Star
