Now Lebanon - March 14 ready for peaceful resistance, source says - November 19, 2010

“March 14 in its entirety is ready to launch a peaceful civil resistance if March 8 forces target citizens, areas and public utilities,” Ad-Diyar newspaper’s Friday edition quoted an anonymous March 14 source as saying.
March 14 will consider any attack on any citizen or region to be a blow against the entire country and its regime, the source added.
Tension is high in Lebanon amid unconfirmed reports that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) will soon issue its indictment in its investigation of PM Rafik Hariri’s 2005 assassination. It is rumored that the indictment will name Hezbollah members.
In a speech on November 11 Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said that Hezbollah will "cut off the hand" of anyone who tries to arrest any of its members in the case.
