The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - ISF tracks thieves, catches them red-handed - February 17, 2011

BEIRUT: Three thieves were caught in the act when they tried to rob a car rental company using a vehicle they had earlier nabbed from the establishment, police said Wednesday. The National News Agency’s crime report said the thieves were caught while allegedly trying to rob the safe of the Sin al-Fil-based firm, owned by Rabih Daoud. But the attempt was thwarted by personnel from the Internal Security Forces, who were waiting for the thieves’ arrival, according to a security source. The source said personnel from the ISF’s Information Branch had traced the movement of the three through a GPS device that was present in the stolen vehicle. The three individuals who were arrested also face several other charges related to auto theft, the source said. –The Daily Star
