Naharnet - Army Arrests 10 Syrians for Illegal Entry, May 30, 2014

The Lebanese army announced on Friday that it arrested 10 Syrians in a border area in the eastern Bekaa Valley for illegally entering Lebanon.

An army communique said soldiers apprehended the Syrian nationals in Arsal in northeastern Lebanon after they infiltrated into Lebanese territories.

The suspects were handed over to the appropriate authorities, it added.

The National News Agency said the Syrians were arrested at the Wadi Hmeid checkpoint in Arsal.

Most of them had fake documents, the state-run agency added.
