Ad-Diyar: Alfa official arrested for spying
Lebanese army intelligence agents arrested on Thursday the chief of the Alfa mobile phone company’s transmission and broadcast section—identified only by his initials of S.K—on suspicions of providing Israel with sensitive information, Ad-Diyar newspaper reported on Sunday.
The paper said that the suspect’s job enabled him to have access to information few other employees have.
The army intelligence is questioning the suspect to determine if other employees were working with him in providing Israel with information, it added.
