The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

April 26, 2010 - Now Lebanon - STL spokesperson says tribunal not concerned about Siddiq

Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) spokesperson Radiya Ashouri told NewTV on Monday that the tribunal is not concerned about Mohammad Zuhair al-Siddiq—the Syrian agent who allegedly misled a UN probe into the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri—in a possible reference to his recent statement.This comes after Siddiq reiterated in an interview in the Monday edition of Kuwaiti newspaper As-Seyassah Kuwaiti that Hezbollah officials were involved in Hariri’s assassination.
