The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

The Daily Star - Child kidnapped but released unharmed - May 28, 2011

BEIRUT: Three unidentified individuals kidnapped a 12-year-old child in Baalbek Thursday.
Security sources told The Daily Star Friday that Ahmad Mortada filed a complaint, describing how three people in a white Renault minivan briefly kidnapped his son at 3 p.m. for unknown reasons, then released him unharmed on the Baalbek-Zahle highway.
