The Daily Star - Four arrests made in search for Estonians - May 30, 2011

BEIRUT: Lebanese authorities have arrested four men thought to have information on seven Estonian nationals who were kidnapped in March, a security source told The Daily Star.
Abdel-Rahman Majzoub, his son Wissam, Mohammad Yassin and Nazir Bassel were arrested just outside the town of Anjar near the Syrian border early Sunday morning, the source said
At least 10 other suspects have been arrested since the investigation began.
The four men, currently being held for questioning, are thought to have information on the seven Estonians who were abducted at gunpoint by masked men on March 23, the source said.
The Estonian nationals were seized in Zahle in the Bekaa Valley shortly after arriving from Syria by bicycles.
A previously unknown group, Haraket Al-Nahda Wal-Islah (Movement for Renewal and Reform), has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping but has yet to make any clear demands. Two videos of the abducted Estonians have been released to date.
In the first video the men were seen pleading for their lives, appealing for help from France, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, while in the second, one of the men said his colleagues and himself were “very tired and in great danger.”
There has been no solid information as to the motivation of the kidnappers or the location of the Estonians.
