The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Daily Star - Syrian national charged over attack on FPM office - January 28, 2011

BEIRUT: A Syrian national has been charged with carrying out a hand grenade attack against the Free Patriotic Movement earlier this month, which caused no casualties. The government’s delegate to the Military Tribunal, Saqr Saqr, Thursday charged Syrian detainee Rani Adel Waraah for tossing a grenade at an office of the FPM in Beit Shebab, Metn. on Jan. 14 . The charges filed against Waraah, before he was referred to the first military investigative judge, called for the death penalty if he is found guilty. – The Daily Star
