The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Lebanon news - NOW Lebanon -Rahhal: Mikati should take stance on STL

Prime Minister-designate Najib Mikati should take a stance on the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL), Future bloc MP Mohammad Rahhal said on Sunday.
“Mikati said he stands in the middle and wants Lebanese an Arab support. But we ask him, do you need support to back the STL or to cancel it,” the National News Agency quoted Rahhal as saying.
