The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

Daily Star - Israel collaborator given hard labor life sentence - September 28, 2010


BEIRUT: Head of the Permanent Military Court, Brigadier Nizar Khalil, demanded on Monday a life sentence of hard labor for a man charged with collaborating with Israel. Detainee Haitham Nayef al-Zaher was stripped of his civil rights after being charged with collaborating with the Mossad, providing it with information on Lebanese and Syrian military and civil sites and entering Israel without a permission. – The Daily Star
