Now lebanon - Sakr criticizes Qawouk’s linking STL to ’06 July War - September 26, 2010

In a statement issued on Sunday, Lebanon First bloc MP Okab Sakr questioned how anyone can call supporters of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) the “July War group” when everyone, including the Resistance, consented to the STL in the national dialogue.
Hezbollah official Sheikh Nabil Qawouk said on Saturday that those who were behind the 2006 July War also stand behind the tribunal’s pending indictment, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.
The language used by some has crossed all boundaries, is harming coexistence and undermining international and regional efforts to calm the situation in Lebanon, Sakr said, adding that everyone needs to behave responsibly.
