Now Lebanon - Fayyad calls for judicially dealing with false witnesses - September 18, 2010

Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Ali Fayad called for dealing with the issue of the STL’s false witnesses through the judiciary to calm the political situation in Lebanon, the National News Agency (NNA) reported on Saturday.

The cabinet delegated Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar on August 18 to follow up on the issue of the false witnesses who gave fake testimonies in the investigation of the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

The most dangerous aspect of the March 14 coalition’s discourse is that they warn about sedition when they adopt speeches that might lead to sedition itself, Fayyad also said.
